WHAT THIS SITE STORES

Privacy at Mrs. Meal Me

This page explains what is stored when you sign up, buy the guide, ask for help, or use the recipe tools.

When you join dinner notes

The signup form is for recipes and occasional product offers. When you join, we store your email address, where you signed up, when you gave consent, and a token for unsubscribing. You can download the free planner straight after signing up.

Every dinner-notes email has an unsubscribe link. Use it to stop future dinner notes and product offers. You can still keep and use your planner. Buying the guide does not sign you up for marketing. After a verified purchase, we stop guide promotions to the same email address.

When you buy the guide or ask for help

Stripe processes payments. Once a purchase is verified, we store its payment reference, status, whether it was a test or live purchase, the PDF edition bought, and the checkout email when available.

Private download links use random access credentials. We store hashes of those credentials and their expiry times. If you request an email containing a private link, the link stays in a restricted message queue while it waits to send. The stored message content is reduced after the email provider accepts it or a final decision is made not to send it.

A help request stores your email, topic, and message. When we send email, Resend processes the address and message. We keep delivery results and records of addresses that should not receive more messages, to prevent repeated or unwanted sends. A provider accepting an email does not guarantee it reached your inbox.

Visit counters

The site uses its own counters to understand which parts people use: planner offer views, completed signups, download clicks, guide views and links, checkout starts, and live purchases verified by the server.

These records may contain a random session identifier and a limited set of campaign or recipe labels. They do not contain email addresses, payment details, access tokens, or full page URLs. A hash of the session identifier and those limited labels may also connect a verified purchase to the visit it came from.

A daily hash derived from an IP address limits repeated requests. It does not count unique people and may still be personal information. Preview, sandbox, and marked quality-check visits are excluded from the current production baseline.

What stays in your browser

Browser storage remembers whether you claimed the planner, your visit session, campaign and recipe attribution, and a marker used for quality checks. It also keeps your recipe tin, serving choices, and checked ingredients and steps on this device.

Your saved recipes belong to this browser; they are not linked to an account. Clearing this site's browser storage removes your saved recipes and checks. The planner-claim flag only helps the site show the right planner message. It never grants access to a paid download or changes your marketing consent.
